THE VILLAGE SQUARE PROJECT
KADS Village square project is fully designed to be a state-of-the-art agri-business center for both buyers and sellers. The location provides all scope for expansion as it is in the Mangattukavala spacious bypass road. Thodupuzha has now grown up as a tourist destination as well as a business center, a gateway to the High-range spice gardens. All popular brands have opened their showrooms at Thodupuzha. Textiles, jewelry, consumer goods, building materials, and whatever one wants are available here. Quality is excellent and the price very attractive. About the Project
Kerala Agri Development and Sustainable Producer Company (KADS PCL) is a collaboration of farmers to facilitate agriculture marketing through ‘Farmers Open Market’ and organic agriculture. KADS PCL, headquartered at Thodupuzha, is entering into its second major venture with the support to integrate dissemination. One of a kind,’ The Village Square-agro organic bazaar, is surely going to be an endeavor, every resident of Thodupuzha can be proud of.
Location
The proposed facility is spread across 2 acres adjacent to the vengalloor-Mangattukavala Bypass road and will have a built-up area of around 40,000sq ft. This agro organic bazaar will cater to the varying needs of a variety of groups including farmers, residents around Thodupuzha, tourists, and the student community interested in Agri-related activities. It will also act as a venue for conducting various exhibitions and meals with ample parking and allied facilities.
KADS & Training Programs
Today’s younger generation is educated, but not professionally skilled or may have gaps in their professional skills. Furthermore, most professional people are specialists of one kind or another. In today’s ever-changing labour market, the importance of skilling and training is growing up.
KADS in association with different sector skill councils and Govt. agencies such as the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) is drawing up plans for a job-oriented Skill Development Center in the Village Square. Food Processing, Tourism (Farm-Tourism, Homestay), Beauty and Wellness, etc. may naturally help in self-employment generation as well.
Well-designed employee training and skill enhancement programs in a quiet background and calm atmosphere will be another added attraction.
KADS & Tourism
The Village Square is also to provide an awesome, unmatched experience for all visitors to hang out leisurely. The place is designed in such a way that every person who visits the place would feel quite at home--the bamboo trail walk, kids playground, exhibition center, tourist amenity center, restaurants, live fish counter, open-air theatre, hypermarket, 50+ village stalls, and an open yard to refresh and relax. The design is choreographed with a combination of the goodness of old traditions and the freshness of the modern era.
The open area is decorated with a natural flower garden in an exquisite environment, which depicts Kerala's traditional ambiance. The food court in the Village Square is ready to serve tasty ‘Nadan’ and western as well. The visitors will feel like honorable guests and not just visitors. All, especially the children will certainly feel at home and will never forget the wonderful time they spent at the Village Square.
